@SolidGame_basic: the part that puts me off both designs is the spider logo. the one time i wish sony would copy ms and have a faceplate / controller factory, seeing the two tones works so well.

its 8:30PM ... as i post this i just pre ordered

faceplates appear to have gone (when i reloaded the page)

the console bundle with the plates is still available.
