Why would anyone but an Asian or Asian-American be named Trini? I was hoping that maybe they would throw a curve by making her Hispanic or light-skinned black, but all I see is another European-American, and I don't get it.

@silverfoxy8472: Way to not pay attention. Dean Isrealite is directing a Lionsgate film that has NOTHING to do with Hayam Saban or the current iteration of the Power Rangers franchise.

Niantic needs to develop a "terrain actuator" engine for this game, PRONTO so that kids go to the RIGHT places for Pokemon, and things like THIS don't happen!

The terrain actuator would have a library of terrain types and, depending on what the camera shows on screen, select the appropriate Pokemon.

Example: the main body of a lake could contain a Squirtle or Magicarp.

@putaspongeon: I will agree with Infamous, since I liked it.. but Uncharted is only easy if you ignore the achievements. The "kill this many in this way" doesn't work if you have to sneak in broad daylight all the time. As much as I like cartoony graphics, I just can't get into RnC or that other buddy game. I guess Resistance is hard because it's touted as a 4-player co-op. I'm not sure about LBP because you know how things get with player submitted maps. I didn't bother with Killzone since it looks a lot like BulletStorm to me.

I always start with XBOX when going to the next gen because it usually has more titles that appeal to me as a casual gamer. I will be getting the XBone for the bunch of next gen titles that I can't play on my PC.

BTW... if you want to talk "functioning"... the trigger buttons on the PS3 controller are a joke compared to the 360 controller. No wonder cross-platform games configure their least-used functions for them.

@putaspongeon: The XBOX 360 was my FAVORITE. I currently have a PS3, but all the exclusive games that aren't anime RPGs (aside from Last Of Us) have a steeper learning curve. As a casual gamer, that does not sit well with me.

On a side note, the monitor I use for my PC, I also use for consoles, but since it's 16:10 instead of 16:9, the 720 and 1080 vid specs for HDMI end up looking skinny.

@putaspongeon: Nice cop-out mentioning CARTRIDGE systems! Now try explaining how to keep a CD READER for a CD-ROM DRIVE from heating up and burning out the console circuitry after the 18 month warranty without buying a fan attachment that voids it prematurely? Or how about how to avoid scratching the disk when you ACCIDENTALLY bump the machine! And what about the scratches from pre-owned games that WENT DOWN IN PRICE?

Sorry... I would rather risk corruption from a PROTECTED HARD DRIVE than buy a scratchable disk for a drive system that can OVERHEAT.

@putaspongeon: Really? Once the disk gets scratched, some component in the reader breaks, or the circuits fry from the CD drive overheating, all you have left is the Hard Drive.

PS4 and XBone were practically touted as the next PCs, yet game developers have not given them the benefit of the doubt when it comes to content. They all seem to have "dumbed down" to PS3 and 360 levels. When will they have the guts to challenge a console's content potential like they do for graphics?

Why do you think that, in every comic book incarnation, Superman's first villain is NOT so overpowered and megalomaniacal that he has no choice but to actually KILL him? Superman NEVER encounters the likes of Zod, Doomsday or Darkseid until his character has been fully developed. It is THEN that he encounters a villain that challenges everything he has ever learned.

Literately speaking, what these guys did was put the cart before the horse. They gave Superman an overpowered supervillain BEFORE he was ready, and FORCED the choice on Superman's character.

On a side note: Does anyone get the impression that they wrote such a rushed and compacted story because they had no intention of turning this into a series like the original?
