Ok, I'm in Chapter 1. I'm in Luca (not the beginning, but afterwards), and this guide says I need to talk to Rin. I've completed the first mission in Luca, and I need to take the righthand path. So I go down the path, and there's a door at the end blocking my way. Help?

Best Shooter: Bioshock: Sea of Dreams or Halo: ODST

Best RPG: Final Fantasy XIII, though White Knight Chronicles or Mass Effect 2 (if it comes out) could take it

Best Survival-Horror: Resident Evil 5 will take this

Best Strategy: Halo Wars, although if they're smart Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon will have a chance

Best Sports: Skate 2

Best Fighter: Street Fighter IV, no contest

GOTY: I can't decide from this list seeing as how I haven't played them, but Gamespot will likely pick Halo: ODST or Halo Wars because Halo is in the title.

I agree with foxhound. Done well, they can both be fantastic. However, most don't try to vary from the genre stereotypes and come off as really cliche and boring. For instance, Elder Scrolls, although a great game, didn't branch much from genre stereotypes.
