You're the second person to make a thread about this. Who cares? It's only .1 and it's a completely different scoring system. If it were to be reviewed again, they'd be tied.

But Gears is totally better.

And why should it affect your opinion anyway? If you like Halo more, you shouldn't be swayed by the fact that someone thinks another game is a little better. It's all the reviewer's and the people's own opinion. People who publicly review games aren't infallible.

So... what the hell was it about? Were they incredibly vague intentionally?

Now, I'm usually good at picking up subtleties, but they didn't explain anything that they brought in. Why did the Agogos glow around Polka? What was so special about her in general? After she jumped off the cliff, why was she turned into a child again and then sent back up as as the way she was before? For that matter, where were they when they faught Frederick? Or am I missing the point entirely? Who's stone thing (can't think of the proper term) did Allegretto find at the beach? Is the answer to everything just that Frederick changed everything or was it not even his freakin' dream in the first place? Now, they may have explained it entirely and I didn't catch it because they keep repeating what the other says over and over, making the cutscenes twice as long as they should be, and I tuned them out after a while.

Just thought they could've explained it better. Or I should've payed more attention to the repetition.
