Meh. I don't concern myself with that issue anymore (in part because I've all but retired from System Wars). I pay for Live because I deem it worthy of being paid for. I do the vast majority of my online gaming on the Xbox 360 because I am pleased with the services it offers. I don't enjoy paying for Live but I circumvent that by asking for a 12 month Live card every year for Christmas. :P I didn't get one last year but luckily, as a perk of working as a GameStop employee, every time someone would trade in a copy of GTA IV for the 360 I kept the one month Xbox Live trial cards MS enclosed in all of the launch copies of the game and customers forgot to use. As a result of using damn near 12 of those things, I'm paid up till March of 2010.
If people want to get bent out of shape because they have to pay for Xbox Live as opposed to getting everything free on the PSN and PC, then fine, more power to them but aim your complaints at MS, don't try to accuse me of being "ripped off"or "milked" because I've paid for it. That kind of talk is just plain annoying.
