MGS4 earns the GOTY completely, as simple as it just boosted the standards for gaming forever. In my eyes MGS4 just put gaming right next to the art of films and adding in the plus of "interactive entertainment". Fallout 3 was an alright game but the storyline was really just pathetic put next to MGS4 and even Gears of War 2. Visual wise Gears of War 2 doesn't even match up with MGS4 when every other second Gow2 has texture glitches. I really don't understand how someone can't play MGS4 again with more guns to collect, new ways to kill the enemy, and harder difficulties to test your sneaking abilities. If thats not enough for you go on-line and play a whole nother game with character customization, loads of different game types, and a large community. MGS4 gives you all the wants of a great game and then some. For it to not when GOTY would be a shame, but personally I think it deserves both for stepping up the bar for gaming.

yeah...thats pretty much why i clicked on it too....pisses.....im not pisses off that the r2 beta is not out yet...i also dont care cause i did not get into the beta
