Ok....so I buy a game but, it isn't mine? What kinda nonsense will I have to go through if I want to bring a game to a friends house. Uhm...I'm officially boycotting xbox one, along with Madden. Hey if I buy a Honda Civic and sell it Honda should get 10% from used car sales.
@cube-gage Yes there are a lot of console fanboys out there though that will buy this. As a gaming PC owner I have no interest in this what so ever. Did you hear the part about 384 cores? Considering my gtx 670 overclocked only gets about 60fps on GW2 maxed I can't imagine this thing doing any kind of decent resolution on anything more than low settings, when it is about 20% as powerful as a gaming PC.
@NervoZa @midnightsteel Wow...the guy was talking about dedicated video memory. 8gb isn't anything if you don't have dedicated VRAM. This little piece of garbage will make a lot of money I'm sure, but considering my 670 overclocked can barely max GW2 at 60fps, the only thing you will get with this, is watered down console quality crap.
@Shelledfade1 @hostX9 It's not window based. Steam has recently produced a full screen "Xbox Livish" interface. It will use that. These are steams attempt to mainstream computer gaming. Unfortunately it doesn't correct the major problem with consoles, which are the hoops developers have to jump through to program for them due to limited and specific hardware.
The people that are complaining about Halo winning obviously don't value the multiplayer as much and are focusing on just the campaign. If you compare JUST the campaign I would say it would be between Far Cry or Max Payne but if you are looking at everything Halo is the only one in the group with a multiplayer that's worth playing.
@champy29 unfortunately their license was supposed to expire 2013 but a case was decided that they get to keep it and anyone can make NCAA games and some other stupid thing. I hate EA I WILL NOT BUY another EA game because of this. Period. They bought out the license so they could do exactly this to the gamer. Shovel out garbage and expect you to pay full price for a roster update.
