It's a misconception actually (Icon user on Gfaqs) What the big time posters (like yourselves but on a social board on GameFAQs) hate are the game boards. They are full of low ranked users (both sides) with the "0mG teh 1337" type posts. Then the GFAQer starts arguments and GS retorts and you have the classic GFAQ vs GS flame war. In summary: 99.9% of all users (both sites) on the game boards are stupid as hell.
It's stuff like this that make me lose the VERY minute amount of respect that I even had for this website. It disgusts me that GameFAQs is forced to be related to such a dishonorable and pathetic excuse of sellouts that manage this website.
One thing that really annoys me when they interpret their first ammendment about that is the fact that they leave out the "The right to swing my fist ends where the other person's nose begins". They always pressure us to join join join. It's annoying and in some cases intimidating. They should just rely on inviting friends to their church instead of sending strangers to advertise something that can potentially change our entire lifestyle.
