You guys better bet that there will still be high-end games developed to take full advantage of more advanced PC hardware, otherwise NVIDIA and ATI would lose a chunk of their business. I guess you can call them the standard-barers for the platform, like MS is for the 360, Sony is for the PS3, etc. They thrive on the release of new, demanding games such as Crysis.

I agree, seems like developers now don't want to spend any money, in case they risk losing it, means we end up with stuff like RE5 which looks good yeah, but it's way too similar to RE4. GT5, just GT4 with new cars and graphics, Halo 3, Halo 2 but with new graphics and some modes. There is nothing wrong with this but after a while you get the feeling you are just playing the same games as last gen but with advanced properties that, really add nothing new to the gameplay.bobbetybob
