While I cannot say much for the general state of the reviews, I will say I absolutely LOVE the Good: and Bad: bits at the top. That really is a huge feature for me, it allows me to know a game without spending a whole lot of time reading about it or playing it. This is great if you chat casually about games as much as I do. Kudos to Gamespot for adding it.
Halo 3, just because of the sheer size of the community. There is never a time when you can't get a good game going. However I would put WiC in a close second due to the amazing potential in a well coordinated game.
Two games really had me addicted for a while. WoW just because of the way it can attach you and make you responsible for other people on a regular basis. The second I really enjoyed was Civ 4, the time used to just slip away by the hours thinking about the next turn.
The only complaint I have is an extreme, but after a long time gaming the standard controllers tend to slip. Thats why I bought a third party controller that had rubber grips on the side, minor thing but still a thing. :D
