So, as a starving college student, I have neither room nor money to get a TV for my dorm. This means I cannot play console games, and that makes me sad.

I did have an idea about it, though-- I thought that if I coupld find AV adapters that would plug into my computer (a new MacBook Pro, 13" screen), then perhaps the computer screen could display a console plugged into it?

Does anyone know if this would work, or anyone who has done it, or how to do it? I have found a few AV adapters that plug into USB ports that could make it work if it is possible.
