Crackdown indeed, just didn't offer the option of side missions like GTA or Saints Row. Two player co-op, something GTA didn't offer. I think Prototype might pickup where Crackdown left off.
I say remake Halo Combat Evolved. They don't even have to update the graphics, and especially don't change the gameplay mechanics. All they need to do is add XBL to it and more multiplayer maps. When they started selling regular xbox games on XBL for 360, I'm surprised they never thought of this. I still love the gameplay from Halo Combat Evolved more than Halo 2 or 3.
I will be greatly disappointed if there are no planes or helicopters in this one. Something I guess I took for granted. They shouldn't have based their liberty city on New York if that meant excluding planes and helicopters. I'll probably enjoy the game none the less but I really liked flying the helicopters. They damn well better have motorcycles at the very least cause I found that disappointing in Saints Row and Crackdown. I don't think they need worry about any lawsuits related to 9/11 but definitely negative attention, much more than what they usually face with their games.
My one buddy's PS3 broke and it cost him $150 to fix. The disc drive burned out is what Sony told him. I can't recall if he mentioned anything about a yellow light though. I just want to go out and point that the PS3 is not invicible. The PS3 breaks and I believe you.
Side note here being if this was made up, the problem is are usually made to be much worse and widespread. This is one person asking for help...
If you work on Sundays, you are definitely going to have a hard time getting one. The best way is to get the Sunday paper on Saturday if the paper in your town does this because many do. See who's advertising and go camp out. Otherwise check smaller stores who sell them as they get them.
I can't find it, but there was an article on gamespot about the shortage. MS was possibly trying to clear its stock of current 360's, maybe for introducing something new. Such as the thinner chip and cooler running model. All is mere speculation...
