Ive noticed that some of the launch 60gb ps3s are having disk reading problems after playing mgs4.
It says the disk is being read in the upper right hand corner but the game doeesnt come up.
Also while playing mgs4 if there was a cd with a question mark on the upper left hand corner.
has this happened to anyone else?
Someone on a different thread said it happened to them. and this also happened to me and a friend of mine. (Accept his still works after a couple of tries)
I dont want to pay sony for something that can be easily fixed. So is there anyone who knows a solution?

Hey I got a launch PS3 (December 18th) and I just got MGS and have only played it once.I think I know what you mean and the best I can suggest is either first backup your saved games on a USB stick then reformat the PS3 using its own function OR try downloading a demo and playing the demo, getting the MGS disc out, then putting in a different game, then playing it.Message me whether it works or not I would like to help you here.
