Nope, I live in Argentina (Southernmost country in America), and we have had the PS2 since 2005. In fact, in 2007 Sony had a party for its 1 million + units sold in the country via Sony Style. According to current PSN data, there are more than 1 million PSN users in the country, but considering the benefits, most of us have outside accounts, so there can be more.

I think that in Brazil it was 2006 though, followed by Colombia and Perú, but I dont quite remember.

Imagine if nobody knew how much CoD sold? Then companies wouldn't be so up tight saying: "If it does not reach CoD like sales its not good".

If the launch is 2013-2014 for Sony and Microsoft, 8gb wouldn't be much of a stretch. RAM is dirt cheap anyway and makes a huge difference.

This. You can get 8Gb of ram for a really low sum of money retail, just imagine wholesale prices which are 50-60% lower than Retail. Yup, dirty cheap.

I'm siding with Sony from day one for a few reasons.
1.I get sick of dishonest thieves wish they would just admit the real reason they did things.
2.anything to keep the online arena and my fun safe..

Im with you, but for other reasons.

1. Hacking, wether hackers want to admit it or not, is for a single purpose of Pirating games. For every 10 hacked consoles, only 1 would be for "Other OS" purposes.

2. In the end, most never even used Other OS due to lack of resources.

3. After all this, the only ones that were injured, as usual, were bystanders.

Hmmm 150 is a bit of an exageration. Sony Style has the games between 80-100 dollars, while ilegal importers have the games between 40-80 dollars. Not to mention that Brazil is the top country in South America at the moment, so piracy is still not a price excuse.

I can't buy a Mercedez, but I won't be stealing one because of that.

You might add demos for every XBLA title. For me cloud storage beats out the XBL features but it wouldn't mean anything if the PS3 didn't have so many copy protected saves in the first place. Ergo, I'm at an impasse.Floppy_Jim

No Copy Protection here friend, you can backup any kind of save to the Cloud. Even protected files ;) Think of it as your own personal haven :D
