I think you have misunderstood me.

I'll give you an example of what I'm talking about. Lets say someone wanted to make a game like mario. If they made a platformer with mushrooms and killer turtles, then that would be obvious plagiarism. However, If someone were to make a game like CoD4 with some soldiers trying to stop an army of terrorists, then there really wouldn't be a problem.

Also, CoD4 doesn't really mix anything up. It doesn't really have any innovations that have affected the gaming industry.

Yes, I find games I can beat in one sitting "classics". More like "classic waste of money". And the online isn't all that great, it's not balanced.

TF2 > COD4.
