I have learned an expensive lesson over the years: never be an early adopter. I bought one of the first mp3 players (300GBP / $550 for a 64MB player); I bought one of the first digital cameras ($1000 for a 1 megapixel behemoth). I will wait for all the initial bugs to be ironed out, the drivers to be fine tuned and, hopefully, the price to come down. I see no good reason to pay good money to slow my computer down and maybe give slightly better graphics in games.
