@firstclassgamer I won't say the Ouya will be crappy but the fact that it's hackable and $99 bucks will generate buzz.

@Dezuria I seriously doubt this is going to be the final Nintendo console. I can't see this system failing that badly. I do think though that Nintendo is realizing that tablets are catching on and they see them as a threat. I used to think like you when they launched the DS. I asked my self "How the hell am I supposed to play a game by looking at two screens at the same time" but then I actually played one and saw how it worked and it changed my opinion on the DS forever. I'm not saying the Wii U will be the smash hit the Wii or DS was but I'm giving it a chance because I feel it will work out. I just wish people would stop complaining about power and what the system will or won't do. None of us know that because it isn't out yet.

@DarthLod And when the new Xbox and Playstation comes out we're gonna get more of the same from them as well. If Nintendo can make money off Zelda, Mario, Metroid, Smash, etc. Why not do it? I can understand if this was Mario Sports Mix we were talking about here.

@Sk8rlink I'm not even gonna bother with this. Nothing ever changes. Not on Gamespot and not on GameFAQs.

@Sk8rlink That's pretty selfish of you to even think something like that. I have no problem with Nintendo going about the next gen in their own way. Nintendo going third party isn't likely to happen because they haven't made the kinds of mistakes that Sega had made before they called it quits. If Nintendo failed to matter in the gaming industry why did the DS, DSi, and Wii sell? The Dreamcast didn't sell because Sega scorned gamers with the Sega CD, 32x, and CDX. You also fail to realize that Nintendo like a lot of other companies have to make money and if the casuals are where the money at that's where they're going and this is coming from an old school gamer who miss the old days of side scrolling beat em ups and the old school FF games. I think the Wii U will be successful in the next generation. Maybe not on the level the Wii did but it will be successful nonetheless. If they decide to price the Wii U at 700 bucks or something then ok but as long as it's under $400 they'll be fine. Mario, Zelda, and Metroid on Steam, Xbox, and PS4? Highly unlikely.

@DaWarthog And what does this comment make you? I'm not upset at all. I do however think Gamespot's reviews have become a bit too harsh over the years. I remember the Madden 06 review when Alex Navarro said interceptions resulted in negative yardage in the QB stat column. When that was proven to be false it was removed from the review as if he never said it at all. Sometimes people forget these guys are critics and nothing more and if you let them decide what you buy and don't buy you must really have no confidence in what you purchase. We all have the right to do whatever we want with the money we have.

@XxTheEvilxX I'll give you that on the new editions and I think the reason NCAA has taken a bit of a step back because I think they really want to make Madden work this year. Madden 12 was solid but not great. I think a lot of these companies refuse to pay a king's ransom to do business with these leagues and only EA is willing to do it. You don't have to apologize for nothing because its your opinion and I was just offering mine as well. Maybe Take-Two will get back in business once the license ends. I think they all should be third party NBA, NFL, and NCAA. This way everyone will be happy.
