Legitimate question: What's the difference between military and non-military shooters? Themes and setting aside, seems like the only difference gameplay-wise is how high you can jump. Halo 3 was great, but after that I quickly lost interest. BTW, Tribes rocks my socks.

So, after my PS3 took a poo while playing Skyrim (not blaming the game, mind you. it was a pretty old model) I took a break from the playstation gaming scene as I couldn't afford to replace it with everything else going on. Well, I'm having more money come in, getting ready for my next semester at college and I'm finally getting a brand new laptop. I was cruising around the sony store and saw I could get a 160 PS3 or Vita (Wi-Fi I think) for free with a new vaio as a promotion for college students. I'm down! For anyone unfamiliar, apparently some vaios come with the remote play feature as part of their software package allowing vaios to also access the PS3's XMB. I know in the past there were some topics on this feature for PSPs. At the time they were posted, the feature was very limited. The reason I'm posting is to find out if any of you use this feature on a vaio. I'm aware media can be accessed remotely, but what about the games? All remote play is doing is transmitting a video signal while receiving input using your mobile device as a wireless middleman (I think). If there are users of this feature here, are there any notable updates or additions to it? I'm sure game playing is still limited, but is it still virtually useless?
