Proof it dumbass. Why is it never brought up in one of their meetings, in the news, or on their sheets, or on their newsletters? they are not fighting for those rights, that;s why it';s the only part that is not being pushed through GOV(not just here WW.) when EVERYTHING ELSE IS.You do know what equal rights mean, right? When they say they want equal rights they mean they want all the rights straight people have. Yet they seem to be leaving a piece out. All the announcements SETnot passed) for complete equal marriage rights does not involve that factor which is why it all seems dumb. Also with civil unions existing why not just remove marriage or whatever, what the heck s the point so people can have threads like this?[QUOTE="DerveCreaves"][QUOTE="ghoklebutter"] They are fighting for them you fvcking idiot. There are pro-LGBT organizations fighting for those very rights.toast_burner

Op[posing equal rights does make you a bigot. So far you've said you oppose equal rights for homosexuals and you want to enforce your religious beliefs on everyone, so we can add religious bigotry into the mix as well. Congratulations now all you need to do is insult foreigners and women and you're a complete package.[QUOTE="toast_burner"]
[QUOTE="ShadowMoses900"]
I do think it's gross but I don't think I'm better than them. It's their business, simply disagreeing does not make someone a bigot.
ShadowMoses900
I'm not opposing equal rights, I just don't support gay marriage. It's not even the same thing dude. Just because someone doesn't support gay marriage does not mean they hate gay people, and no I don't try to force my religion upon them. I don't believe in "preaching" to people and my synagouge welcomes gay people to attend just like everyone else.
You are just demonizing things. Even John Stewart (who is probably the hero of many of the people here on OT) agrees with me that not everyone who doesn't support same sex marriage is a bigot (and he supports it btw).
Are you sure you're jewish?[QUOTE="DerveCreaves"][QUOTE="toast_burner"]Then give them those rights, problem solved.ghoklebutterExcept those rights aren;t being given to them and apparently those are not the rights they are fighting for. Which means it will be brought up again and doing this continually brings bad publicity. They are fighting for them you fvcking idiot. There are pro-LGBT organizations fighting for those very rights. [QUOTE="DerveCreaves"][QUOTE="wis3boi"]I think he's talking physically. what a joker poster, why are you defending this guy? I actually didn't realize he was using the religious argument. Which makes no sense to me. Now I see why this thread continues to go in cirles now that I read through it.It is the same, you muppet
MrPraline
Do research, there are additional benefits for married couples (IN MOST states.) which gays do not get. Also they don't even get all the regular benefits (in SOME states.)Then give them those rights, problem solved. Except those rights aren;t being given to them and apparently those are not the rights they are fighting for. Which means it will be brought up again and doing this continually brings bad publicity.[QUOTE="DerveCreaves"][QUOTE="toast_burner"]Everyone who has a child gets child benefits.

[QUOTE="DerveCreaves"]You're an idiot. How is it not relevant? It;s to give gay people the same rights in marriage completley. How is incomplete marriage not relevant? It's useless fighting for all the same rights when you only gain part of the rights and not all of them.MrPralineYou know what's funny? I have a piece of paper here, written 3000 years ago with 2013 ink, that says "DerveCreaves is a c*nt and should not get married". Can't argue with God (swt) I haven't even said I rejected same sex marriage or if I have a religion LOL WTF???? If they are fighting for the same rights why would they not want all the rights? The current thing being allowing gays to marry is fine, but that same thing states they don;t gain marriage-child benefits starigh couples due. So how is that my fault? Should you guys not be trying to get that to? Why would you guys only want partial rightsd? it's like women again "lol we want equal rights" "lol don't give here the death penalty for doing murda."

[QUOTE="Aljosa23"]There is no issue though. This is just you and your brainwashed religious views trying to ruin it for other people. It's baffling that you don't see the garbage you're saying.

Sorry but no. A man and a woman exist for a reason, a man and a man or a woman and a woman reliationship is not the same no matter what they say.

rofl. Physically he is correct. :cool:Which they don't get the benefits for having a child through union because they are not straight. I didn;t say they could not have children lord.Everyone who has a child gets child benefits. Do research, there are additional benefits for married couples (IN MOST states.) which gays do not get. Many gay couples adopt children and many have their own biological children.
