" thought Mario sunshine and TP were better than SM64 and OOT"
holy sh*t!

The problem is he played them in reverse order even though I agree with Mario Sunchine.
Why would it matter? If it were indeed the better game, the better game would stand out, would it not?
Not necessarily. We as humans have this weird bias that can show up in situations like this. In fact, its related as well to the whole 'retro' appeal in that we get attached to what we enjoyed.
If you play TP first, OoT is going to seem much the same but with worse graphics. However, if you play OoT first, TP seems like OoT with a new coat of paint.
I've played with all the control schemes, and so far I have found the Wii+chuk the most fun to use outside of KB+M. However, you can't go into Wii+chuk with the same thinking as either of the others. It's a different concept. Your aim is no longer locked to your field of view. This can add an extra level of complexity that we're generally not used to.
How will it fair competetively, who knows. We really haven't had any titles that can show us that. We may never know this generation either with Wii's clunky online model.
I'm still not sure which platform to get it for. The pc version will probably be the best but it looks like a game I would want to play with a controller in my hand and on my 42" Full HD screen instead of a 19" CRT with m/k.Blommen
You do know you can get perfectly functional controllers for your PC, right?
Okay by me. Still dubious on whether it will turn out good anyway. It has potential, but so did SW:TFU. A delay may even work in PCs favor if any issues are correctable by the PC release.
Koei has always held a weird place in my heart. I know their stuff is pretty weak, but I play it anyway. Never been into tecmo, but they do some quality work from what I've seen. Now the question here is will tecmo bring Koei up, or will Koei bring Tecmo down? In the end, I'm not sure how I feel about this merger idea.
At this time, I'm not even sure 360 will get it because to date we still no exactly squat about it. At that rate, they'll be lucky to put it on this gen at all. Hopefully we'll get some solid info after the ps3 bioshock release, but if we don't...
I've heard this claim of current DVD driving using mythical new format X now about 5 times, not once has it come to anything. Get back to us when MS puts out a firmware update to actual do this, until then it's as much a pipe dream as the other 4.
