@Topic: Don't know what to think about that. On the one hand, it's a good thing, that this-gen consoles finally get a good RPG, but on the other hand it could set a trend which could lead RPGs to follow the FPS genre to console-town where they dumb stuff down. (Even more that in Fallout 3.)

I do remember reading previews of GTA IV PC and they said it was running smoothly at 1920 x 1080 I think; however, the system they were gaming on was a Core 2 Extreme overclocked w/ a GTX280 if I'm not mistaken. So unless you're running w/ those specs or higher, be content with what you're getting. There is no such thing as next-gen with PCs. There's only optimized and unoptimized. GTA obviously is the latter witth even highend systems not being able to run it without problems.
And the last one I can think of just off the top of my head, I really miss playing STUNT (Or was it STUNTS?). It was basically a very premature 3D racer in which you could build crazy custom tracks with loop-de-loops and half pipes and all kinds of non-sense and then be able to race through it with a at-the-time-realistic physics engine. Where is my easy to use track building game with ridiculous cars!
See? I managed to do it without once whining about how much I miss adventure games.

I played that religiously. You could also save replays which I hadn't seen before. Me and my cousin used to share tracks and compete for the best scores. Good times!
