The Wii is current gen. It has the horse power of last gen, but the features are something on par with the current gen systems. Like web browser, wifi and of course the motion control. It is pretty lacking in software though. Tons of crappy games (shovelware) and sub par online structure (friend codes, etc).

I hope something is done to improve the software and online for next gen.

I'm ignorant, yet you choose to ignore what games I consider fun? Like Devil May Cry, Resident Evil, Final Fantasy, Metal Gear, Gears of War, God of War - Nintendo has moved away from them and offers weak substitutes as replacements; like light gun Resident Evil games or Wii-hashes. Sorry, Nintendo does not care to draw my attention, therefor won't get my money.

Well, he certainly isn't listening.

Nintendo needs to keep it's millions of customers happy. And, I frankly have no idea how they are going to pull that off. How do you get the casual market to commit and move onto the next system? The hardcore for Nintendo are long forgotten. MS needs to provide a reliable system that continues to be developer friendly in terms of programming and creating games. Sony needs to get back in touch with reality - once they do that, the rest should be cake for them.

sigh,... they posted the ps3's performance for GOW3. and, there isn't anything there special about it. again, it's like me posting; "the sky is blue when it isn't cloudy" or "water is wet". 30fps is standard - great. So is the ability to save your games. Should we start creating threads about how the ps3 has a controller? or internet access? it's all basic stuff.

It's simply about how GOW3 performs. The fact that you want to make this into a 360 vs PS3 does not speak much for your posting habits.
