All i know is that I got told if we buy a full HD TV and a PS3 it would crap all over my component XBOX360 running on my old 720p TV. Re-writing that sentence- "I got misled into buying a very expensive TV, an expensive console, and now cannot see where the media was getting their facts from regarding the PS3 being SO MUCH more... powerful than anything in the world". **** and Hype. I should kept my old TV and 360 and sat back and laugh at all these idiots. Oh hang on? Yep.

I'll be honest man, I had a 360 from launch. And was happy, the I read all this stuff that started to comeout (remember?) about the PS3 being like 50 million more time more powerful than NASA's space capsule etc... But I was strong... and held off.... but then some screen shots and fancy journalism (sales?!?!) was said and I caved after about 6 months of the PS3 being released and bought one. Can I be honest now... on my real opinion now that I have spent my money and have a 46inch bravia 1080p to play on. Wicked sound system too (yamaha amp etc). Point is - I got raughted. All that hype and Jazz - The upgrade to blu ray was unecessary really. DVD's upscaled look good ENOUGH imo. At first because I just spent like 5000 dollars I was like WOW - look at the extra dots... hahah and I laugh at it now - its really not THAT much better. Even blurays. I have about 7 of them and only one or two look awesome. The rest look like.. oh HOLD ON!!! yeah - upscaled DVDs. As for the gaming - again - I remember everyone saying that XBOX360 cant do 1080p without the elite console or HDMI etc... ANd maybe they are right in terms of utmost purity. But you know XBOX360 gears of war runs through the component cables atnd it shows up as 1080P!!! on my TV. Whether someone wants to try and prove me wrong or otherwise - that is cool - go for it. But it is true. I own both - and love both. But Sony made a killing on me and you know what?? That was a lot of money (stereo, TV, PS3) for what I could of got with my 360 and a nice plazma..... Be real people this is big time money for utter garbage... Where is the 3x times more powerful PS3 I was promised?? Where are the 1080p NEXT GEN GAMES?!?!?! Get Farked you dogs. PS I rteally do like my PS3 - I havent bought a game for my XBOX360 in ages just becuae I have spent on my PS3 set up -even though stuff seems to run better - have less loading more exclusive quality (my fav game is Gears) and all my games I decided to run on PS3 this year - NBA 2k8 and FIFA08, are smoother on the 360.... Thats real.

Im over trying to upgrade **** I buy a PS3, it drops in price the next week. I buy a computer, its outdated a year later. Suck. My. Balls. My 7800GTX 256mb will rip everything! My macbook pro I got like in aug brand new, doesnt even run games and that has like a 256 mb vid... pft!!!
