@Aaronp2k @DeKuip @JRD1912 The old republic was a little bland if you ask me. Not its fault but MMo aren't really a good way to tell a story. They constantly take you out of the immersion with the poor way to tell a story.
Arriving at a village and accepting a quest from someone that says your the only one who can save us while 10 other characters are accepting the same quest is just a gamebraker for me. Never seen a game that looked so good and was so fun to play. If story is the only problem people should play single players instead of MMO's or something similar
@subzer0w1ns @DeKuip @JRD1912 Not reallyl. The story's were definitly awesome but the mechannics on the long run are totally different. Bordeland is a Single player or coop game. While destiniy is a mmo project for atleast 10 years. In that time the story will probably be way bigger and more intresting then both BD 1 and 2 put together. Destiny is just starting to tell the story. It could have be done better then it is but its only the beginnning
@JRD1912 @DeKuip Name one MMO game that has a good story? Halo is the only story that is fun to play but other shooters are often much worse. This is just the beginning, the story will get better(I hope)
Haven't finished the game but IMO its the best shooter in years. Better then Halo, CoD, BF and way better then any mmo ive ever played. My only problem is the lack of story but this is a big project and the story is just getting started. They are just explaining the basics of the destiny world and background and really think the story will take of after a year of dlc. I understand if people have a problem with that but Bungie said many time this project willl be one for years to come and i rather have one big story over time then a multiple poor story's like WoW or any crappy MMo out there
Could anyone explain why gamestop isn't reporting on net neutrality? I don't know if this will effect the gaming industry but i couldn't imagine otherwise. The USA is supposed to be the freest country in the world LOL. Your internet rights are being stripped as we speak soon you will have the same access of china only getting the info the government wants you to read. The USA has become a dictatorship and i don't see anyway the gaming industry will not be effected. This should be world wide news for weeks. Especially if its on a gaming site!!!
@neroist @theprismhead Every MMO looks terrible compared to any new single player game. The gameplay is boring as hell and the story lines are crap compared to any decent RPG. You obviously like MMO's so this might be the game for you, they're nothing wrong with that. But don't you dare compare any MMO to skyrim they're two completely different games.
@baldy40 @DeKuip You just don't understand the game and the fact that it was NEVER meant to be about the graphics. Its not a game made for fans its made by someone with a vision and high end graphics were never apart of that vision. If you look at the first DS the trees looked like a poorly painted cardboard box on the background. Its was so ugly it looked like something from the 90's. Now two years later they have a lot of improvements on the graphics. The only thing that does suck is they showed entirely different footage with better shading and light etc. But if you are surprised at this then you probably never seen a promo in your life ever before, Each and every last of them is way better looking then when they actually are released.
I understand the disappointment but like i said before graphics are the least important is any DS game!!!

When the DS was released it looked just as terrible by comparison.
If you stand on Zens tower the forest looks like a pixel orgie. Its look almost like some guy is holding a ugly painting of a forest in front of the screen.
If you dont understand this then DS 2 probably aint for you but then again why would you enjoy the last DS if graphics are so important to you?
Dark souls isnt about the graphics but about gameplay, lore and the challenge of it.
Anyone that doesnt understand this should not play the game. Maybe we should start bitching about Mario kart having such terrible graphics i mean just look at it. Its ancient and still tons of people still play the game because its FUN.
