Well, my big comment never went through, so I'll just say this. I'm glad others are noticing that the new Xbox is a crappy PC with 3 OSes. But man, will the videogame industry stop trying to phase out people without internet? I feel bad for all the people in the shanties who manage to save up month after month and don't even have the option of picking one of the consoles from this generation because they have no internet. Microsoft, when will it end?

1. Requiring the kinect to be connected is not a defendable thing AT ALL. Saying you can disable the damn thing doesn't mean squat either, since the guy literally says some games will force you to use it.
2. PS4 doesn't have hardware BC, nowhere do I remember Sony saying "Hey, remember all those games you downloaded since we released our console in '06? Good, that's all it is now, a memory."
3. You have to be ONLINE to do OFFLINE things as well dummy.
4. You don't have any friends do you? What do you think happened when my buddy lent me his copy of Mortal Kombat and I wanted to play another friend online? Oh wait, I don't deserve to play online, I gave evil Gamestop money for this game and not the people who made it! But, I didn't, do they know? No, do they care? No. But let's say I did give evil Gamestop some money, where the hell does anyone have the right to get more money after an inital sale? That's like me selling my '72 Camaro and Chevrolet DEMANDING a cut of it.
5. The guy himself admits running out of space being very likely, and Microsoft ignores it because you can "reinstall" your games? Now I need to buy a terabyte flash drive (Which is expensive as hell by the way) to use my console? Now I'll even help you out here, PS3 has the same problem, some games require an install, some don't. But you know what the PS3 has, a console from '06, that the new Xbox tells you right off the bat they won't do? Changeable hard drives. You accepted the 360's proprietary hard drive bullcrap while everyone with a PS3 just used their brain and bought a laptop SATA hard drive for way cheaper. The new Xbox though? Can't do either.
6. I already explained this one, but seriously, I don't understand how you can even try to justify this. All it would take is some coding work, but that's not profitable enough for Microsoft. (Apparently)

Playstaion Plus not only came out BEFORE the PSN went down, Sony was nice enough to give everyone a free month AND a choice of 2 out of 5 games. What does Microsoft give you? 25 points on your birthday. That's not even a freaking dollar, you're paying EXTRA for the ability to use your internet with your games, and they spend it all on this glorified cable box. You say you're open to all views, you should try this one, the logical one.
