I had a geforce 7800 gtx in my last computer with an Athlon 64 4000+. It ran the original Bioshock o.k. but only at 1024 x 768. I am hoping to getg a system with a ATI 5770 graphics card. It just shows you how fast technology moves. If you have an older computer it probably wont run this game very good. I don't like to upgrade and get new computers all the time. But if you like to play the newest games you have to buy the hardware that will work best to have all the bells and whistles on while playing the new games.
Does the game have to run at 1600 x 1200 to be playable. If you would run it at lower resoliution a single core processor might be able to get playable framerates.
My G7 works fine for me. I used a MX518 before but too small for my hands. I have a Logitech trackball but I don't know how to get the mouse ball out of the socket to clean it. I think wireless mice are the best.
I would have like to see how the Geforce 7800's would do on these tests. I have a Geforce 7800 GTX it works pretty well with all the games I have gotten.
I have a Geforce 7800 gtx 256 mb, and the games I play run play pretty smooth. I'm going to wait for Windows Vista before I consider getting a new video card.
