also @ Naylord i really like your idea, the only problem is the space required on the HDD for full games, eventually you are going to have to choose which games you want to keep downloaded. however, in the same vein i sell games after im done wih them so i would most likely just delete them off my HDD, or transfer them to an external hardrive if that would be possible.
i really liked the part in the article where this west d-bag explained how pirating is worse than buying used..... if games were actually ready to be sold when they are released then maybe more people would buy them new. it would also help if developers would try to come up with something original for once. i seriously laugh at anyone who buys each new COD or Madden / NBA / MLB game when they come out.
