we are missing a lot of great franchises Devil may Cry, Resident Evil, something from team ICO, Soul Calibur, don't know why this games haven't been made for the PSP. I also would like to see something like Zone of The Enders, or maybe Knights of the Zodiacpiranha_inc

Yes, that's another PS2 franchise that could see the light of the day on the PSP. I just remembered Xenosaga, Arc the Lad and Legaia.

Give me Resident Evil and I'm happy!rodney130

A side story/spin-off with RE4 gameplay would be awesome.

as i said it before many times, ill say it again. i find it interesting that most people complain that no new good games are coming. ever considered that some good games are ALREADY out? im pretty sure most players dont have all games that they would want alreadydarkPSPfan

You certainly didn't read my post right. I never complained that no new good games are coming. I even start saying that i don't think PSP games library is weak. I just said that there's some traditional PS series that i'm missing on the PSP. This thread is not about the lack of good games on the PSP, but the absence of some series that are traditional on PS brand machines. There's a difference you know.

First of all, i don't think PSP games library is weak, but it certainly could be better, especially for a machine with the PlayStation logo on it (although the PS brand isn't what it used to be these days, but that's another story). Anyway, there's some traditional PS series that i'm missing on PSP, like Gran Turismo, Devil May Cry, Resident Evil, ICO/SOTC and Dark Cloud. I also think Maximo would be perfect on the PSP. But things are starting to improve, with the upcoming releases of Parasite Eve and Kingdom Hearts. Hopefully the PSP will still entertain us for some time until its successor.

What do you guys think?

Basically almost the same design of the original PSP, but with two analog sticks, analog face buttons (like Dual Shock 2 and 3), four shoulder buttons instead of just two and R3/L3 buttons. As far as the performance goes, 4 to 8 times the power of the original PSP. That would be perfect in my opinion.

My top 5, in no particular order: Chains of Olympus, Crisis Core, Jeanne D'Ark, Dark Resurrection, The Dracula X Chronicles.

what rpgs do you all think there need to be remakes of? i personally think legend of the dragoon needs to be remade for the psp cause that was a good game. also i think grandia IIneeds to be remade and also the front mission series needs to be remade for the psp.

sonictank

Most people make fun with me when i say Grandia II is the best RPG i have ever played. But yes, it is. I have it for the Dreamcast. Now, to be honest, i don't think Grandia II needs a remake, but i would love to see a new Grandia game for the PSP, just like i'm really excited about the Parasite Eve game for the PSP.
