@Saidrex Probably because those bugs aren't new, they're carried over from the core game. Whether it's frame rate drop, gadget's refusing to work, black screens or infinite falling it's all the same old story. WB Montreal has sealed their reputation with this game as the devs who broke the Bat.

@Legolas_Katarn Yep, YEP and Yeah you betcha! I'm playing it on my PS3 and it is buggy as hell. I have one of Enigma's data files shown on the map after I just picked it up and it won't go away; I took out Deadshot, but it still shows 0% on the Most Wanted list and the side mission STILL shows on the map (even though the place is empty); I pressed and held the button to glide and Batman took off into a dive bomb to glide kick someone (which is done by a completely different button); at one point the "shift" button, in this case R2, stopped working entirely so I was unable to perform any quickfire gadgets during combat (or otherwise) and I had to restart the game system; the sound frequently drops out for both dialogue and sound effects and let's not forget the multiple times the game has outright FROZEN on me!

There are just as many things wrong with this game as there are things that are right. I'll give WB Montreal this, the game certainly does feel like you're playing as a less experienced Batman. Unfortunately most of that feeling comes from the game's choppy frame rate and other annoyances that should have been worked out before they released the game.

@turkey39470

Metal Gear Solid didn't tank after they took it back to Big Boss' beginning. In fact, Metal Gear Solid 3 was the best game in the series (until 4 rolled out).

I can't believe that so many people are surprised by the $249.99 price tag. Correct me if I am wrong, but is it not a historical fact that when companies (any company) that manufacture gaming consoles promise that their price point will be under X dollars that it is always 1 cent less when the official price is announced? Not only am I not shocked at the $249.99 price tag, I was expecting it.
