For that sort of money over here I think you'd be looking at something like:

i5-3570

Asus P8Z77-M

HD7870 (Maybe 7950 depending what deals you find)

TX650

8GB RAM

Thanks for the advice, I completely forgot about the 7870, even though I've been using mine for a few months now and its played every game flawlessly.

This is what i've come up with so far

If you're getting good parts like a 670 and 3570k i'd invest a little more into the case.

I don't know very much about cases, the case I chose is just one I've had for a year, it seems to do the job, but if you know any better ones I'm all ears.

I've been looking around, want to know your opinions on my potential choices:

GPU: 670

Motherboard: Asus P8Z77-V

Case: Cooler Master 430

Ram: Corsair 8GB

PSU: 750watts

Processor: i5 3570k

Fan:Hyper 212

HDD: WD 1tb

These go over my budget but I planned to find what I wanted on amazon then look around for better deals, if you know where I can cut corners to save money or if i'm completely off I'd like to hear your suggestions.

Sorry for my late response.

He was using my mum's old imac before so we will need a case/tower for the computer, we have a monitor, keyboard and mouse already.

I looked at the link you posted but sadly it just said my shopping cart was empty.

Hey,

I'm looking to build a pc for my brother to play games with, my budget is up to a maximim of £800 and no more, but less the better, I've been looking around myself but i'm not completely sure as I'm new to the scene on which parts are ideal.

He mostly plays World of Warcraft but has wanted to play other games and often complains about how slow his current pc is, since its getting pretty old now, I would like this new computer to be able to play recent games or atleast World of Warcraft on high settings, so that he can enjoy newer games and keep him happy for as long as possible.

Thanks for your help, I live in the UK so American websites are not the best for me, but parts you reccommend I can try to search around for.

Played Half-Life 2 since I only herd great things about it, but I think its a bit dull compared to newer games, probably was best for its time. Has a lot of action mements, but you do spend a lot of time in a car or speed boat/raft just traveling to a destination, so I'd say its very repetitive, forced my way through to the end to see if it would improve, while also playing the episodes to see if it gets better but it doesn't in my book, the episodes are worse.

But it really comes down to you, what you like, I didn't enjoy it but you might love it.

Hmm, I just assumed it would be some cheap dvd case, but after looking around on the internet, I can't seem to find any that match it perfectly, I find it hard to believe that they had these specially made for this series.

Hey,

I recently brought Deep Space Nine but when opening one of the cases, I noticed the plastic holder was broken, I want to replace the case but I'm struggling to find one that looks exactly like it and was hoping someone would know where I can find an identical copy.

From measuring the spine, it is 5mm exactly and the insides are glossy.

Spine of Case

Front of Case

Case Open

Case no cover

If anyone could help, I would be very greatful.
