@s2i2p2i2o I would certainly imagine higher then 12-18% of people played through TES games. maybe not finished the entire game (sooooo much time lol) but that is because they spent a shit ton of time into the story.
when you only put 3-5 months into a story and the missions for it, you can only hope to get a few hours of play, and people probably don't want to play a mediocre 6 hour story.

if he is trying to say gamers don't like stories in their shooters then absolutely true for the majority of ppl i think, but to put out a blanket statement (or near so) against the story driven game in the future, is like saying "I think words will be gone from the world and we'll just use pictures, maybe painted on walls inside caves to communicate."

IMO he just paints himself as simple and uncultured.

@Super_Tramp its a slow game news morning, and since he's polish, it means anything he says will be like 5-6 hours ahead of east coast US time, so it makes for a nice morning article for the US ppl to read when they wake up.

I understand where he is coming from. At some point you need to quit making the game and start putting it onto discs and servers and begin distributing it across the planet and doing all your heavy marketing for your final product.

I understand that durring that time of "3 months" those same developers will have time to make new DLC content that can then be released.

BUT!!!
It still looks bad.

Everyone farts for instance, but if Obama farted while shaking hands with Queen Elizabeth it would still look bad.

How about after they finish the 2nd DLC for a game, the Devs release the 1st one, after the 3rd finishes they release the 2nd, and when they start a new game, they release the 3rd

That way it at least looks like they are working on new stuff and gamers have time to get into the storyline of their games and get into the groove without being overwhelmed by all the new shit going on at once.

I'm not a Marketing VP or anything so I don't know all the facts involved ofc lol.

If I really really liked A7X or Serj or David Disturbed or Brad Paisley or Garth Brooks or any other artist, that does not make it ok to walk into the mall and steal the CD.
I understand that most album sales are done digitally but the point is still there. I was raised that stealing was never ok, not "well son you can steal sometimes but only when you are totally sure they have like, so much money already that its no biggy"
