Elder Scrolls Online is not a bad game in and of itself. It's just not that fun, IMO. It simply carries on the typical MMO BS. It's only difference is the first person mode.

Lets list it's flaws....

1; Not worth 15 bucks a month

2; Segregated platforms

3; Far too many fetch quests and grinding

4; The ES gameplay does not work in MMO style. It's not the same game.

I think what they should have done was simple use a Guild Wars type online system in ES single player games. Make a few major cities into player hubs, and allow players to communicate and trade within those hubs. Outside the hubs, the game reverts back to single player, with the ability to form parties of up to 4. It would allow the choice of multiplayer gameplay, without forcing it.

I want to know if anyone has ever had any ideas for games. I have a few myself. 1; Immortal Genre; Open World, Action/Adventure, Shooter, Stealth, Supernatural Plot; The main character sells his soul to Satan in return for immortality. As part of the deal, he must send collect souls for Satan using a demonic artifact. The player stalk and murder NPCs and use the artifact to take their souls to fuel their immortality. Immortality is portrayed as a continuously decreasing meter. When a player is killed, and they have a certain amount in their immortality meter, they are revived. If their meter is empty, they are mortal and can be killed for good. All NPCs can be stalked and murdered. You could follow a waitress home from a local diner and strangle her in his home. You could go on a killing spree at a local mall. You also have the option of playing the "dark vigalante" and killing only criminals. 2; Stormfront Genre; Action/Adventure, Stealth Plot; The year is 2015. The Soviet Union never fell, and the cold war never ended. You play as CIA agent Alex Storm, and go on missions around the world to stop Soviet agents from undermining American interests. Stormfront is like an American version of James Bond. Players use stealth, disguises, gadgets, and weapons to complete missions. It is like Splinter Cell, Hitman, and Metal Gear all rolled into 1. 3; Art of War Genre; First Person Shooter. Strategy Plot; In the year 2075, the Earth's reserves of fossil fuels are nearly depleted. The nations of the world have gone to war over the little oil and coal that remains. This game is like Risk on steroids. Players control 1 of several factions and attack other factions to take control of territories. Instead of having linear levels like games like Call of Duty, Art of War will have an open world map with levels being split into "Battles", "Skirmishes", and "Fire Fights" Battles will take place in cities (i.e. the Battle of London, or the Battle of New York), and skirmishes take place over key areas. such as bridges, airstrips, etc. Fire Fights occur when two opposing units meet on the map, and take place on random maps. Players, depending on whether or not they are attacking a given area or defending it, will be able to use perks and abilities in their games. For example, if you play as the Americans, you can set up defense turrets on key areas around New York City map, and other Battles and Skirmishes that they control. Some of the playable factions will be.... United States China Japan The United Islamic Federation European Union
