Really MS? You turned down Heavy Rain because it had child abduction in it? I'm pretty sure there have been other games with more controversial themes than that. How is the plot of Heavy Rain much different from movies that have similar stories?

This doesn't matter to me either way since I will probably never play another subscription based MMO, but it makes sense. If you are paying Bethesda the subscription fee and they are the ones hosting the servers why should you also have to pay M$?

@snugglebear I agree. I personally don't have a problem with paying for additional online features and support, but charging me extra so that I can use the hardware that is already there is just ridiculous.

@hairdie Plus, I don't really think they want to spend a ton of time perfecting a simple demo when they are simply trying to perfect the hardware behind the concept. The reason that graphics get polished up all nicely is for the consumers. When devs are testing features it really doesn't matter that much

@Huglyone While I agree that there are better games than Skyrim out there I have to disagree with your alternative suggestions. Alan Wake and Mafia? I would hardly call those some of the best games of the the generation.
