Being a forum its redundant to say it but I want your opinions. When you play a video game what stands out for you and makes you stick around for more?

Personally I've become a Mass Effect addict, I couldn't help but ask what dragged me into the sequal more than the original. ME has an incredible story with characters that have potential to be deep (but I just never seen this deepness) and a unique setting where humans are the newbies. Mass Effect 2 drags me in for what I believe is the more fluid gameplay and the character development that makes me savour every conversation with Tali, Garrus and Joker. These feel like the best IMO. I feel bad for the first because I played it 3 times for the choices, didn't enjoy it as much as the sequal. :(

So once again what games do you play a lot, and what makes that game so much better than all your other games?

Wow after looking at the responses I guess i'm in the minority, although some people do tend to agree with the fact Male Shep is the only decent looking mug.

for my first playthrough, i usually play as "me" so ill customize the appearance to look more like myself.

otherwise, ill just play around with the feature and my character. i might create a wizard in a fantasy game and work off what youd expect a wizard to look like. i might put a historical or fictional character in the role and base the looks off that. i might just know that my character will be much more aggressive in that playthrough so ill make the character look "aggressive." yeah, its pretty nerdy.

Makes sense I know A guy who is al about making every one of his Shepards unique and making them really aggresive or nice. He spends like 20 minutes just getting that perfect face.

When you buy angame (that supports face customisation)do you customise your characters face, or do you use the defaultimage in games? I ask simply because I want to know if i'm in a minority who keep it default, or in the majority. I wouldn't mind if you also gave reasons for your choice.

I always use default person. My reason being, in ME I use default Shep because that face is the face Shepard was meant to use. To change the face just doesn't feel as natural.

You Could Boost on War mode (because of the no time limit) if you can get enough people you can complete challanges unlock attachments and other stuff but it would require a lot of people.
