I think it is surprising that Mr. McShea neglected to mention the growing market of indie games and studios. I think more of the mid-level developers will start turning into small houses who put their games out primarily through xbla, psn, and steam.
@GunEye The blonde "Liquid like guy" is Kazuhira Miller. In the first MGS, he's who Liquid Snake impersonated in order to have radio communication with Solid. He was also somewhat of a mentor to Solid in his younger years as well as an ally to Big Boss.
I'm thinking the grey haired Ocelot like guy is... well, Ocelot. He's been in every MGS title and MGS 4 hints at him and Big Boss having a history together. This could be where we see that history.
I doubt we will see Solid in this title. Peace Walker takes place in 1974 and the Les Enfants Terribles cloning project was also in the 70's. I'm guessing that after BB was put into a coma, Major Zero had his arm taken to get the material needed to make the clones. Note that he is waking up in a room with a British flag... If Solid is in this game, he's probably not old enough to have even hit puberty, so he won't have the deep chain-smoker voice of Hayter.
@Mausingen @DILLISSUNAL This game is next-gen. Apparently the cinematics (i.e. the trailer) are done with the same level of detail as the actual gameplay. So look to this if you want to see next gen. It's awesome. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P99qJGrPNLs
@Mausingen @DILLISSUNAL Most of the time when developers are showcasing their games, they use PC's because that's what they have the game saved on. They're probably doing all of the coding, programming, etc on pc and will later push everything through on a formatting stage since it will be on multiple consoles. Make the basic code first, then tweak it to fit the systems.
@Rains_MD @rideru @anaplussetup @shinspikes Or in MGS2 how there is the tanker section at the beginning and then the big shell for the rest of the game.
