Considering Kanye is in charge of just about everything in his music (including making the beat), these two statements seem to contradict each other a little bit.

most of his songs arnt like that anyway, no song on College Dropout or Late Registration is like that, only Stronger is like that on Graduation, no songs are like that on 808s & Heartbreak, only Monster is like that on MBDTF, and only like 3 songs are like that on Watch The Throne (which is the influence of Jay Z and the whole point/theme of the album is bragging anyway)

Compare that to an excerpt from an artist who may not necessarily have as much commercial value, but raps about real life and the love of his life who developed severe stomach cancer.
