The Walking Dead is a passably decent television show, Breaking Bad (specifically seasons 3 through 5) is one of the greatest shows ever. Not even close, Breaking Bad all the way.
It's just a knee-jerk reaction to stem belief that innovation is fading, and get a little confidence back after their sub-par earnings last quarter. I don't think it's the innovation they needed, but I think it's a better idea then forging on to create the iPhone 6 quicker. At least it's new.
Criminals are always going to obtain fire arms, they get them through the black market. All you're doing by outlawing guns is taking them out of the hands of responsble citizens and giving the criminals the advantage.
The only people who want to ban guns are criminals, commies, or the very naive.

Investopedia is a good place to start learning basic terms and strategies, The Motley Fool is a more advanced place to conduct research once have a basic grip. And yes, trading from abroad is perfectly possible with many ETFs and publicly traded stocks and bonds.
There are plenty of valid ETFs worth investing in, I would recommend a midcap SPDR for your first one. Don't pick your own stocks, you don't know what you're doing, and truth be told almost no one does. The market is designed to prevent success for individual investors, especially ones with minimal investing potential.
In an attempt to avoid the iPhone I've owned a Samsung Focus running Windows and then a Galaxy S2. Neither was really what I wanted, so I gave in an bought an iPhone 5. As much as it annoys me to admit it, it's the best. Almost everything about it is superior to the other phones, and it's certainly the best phone I've ever owned.
