The thing is, some people are more susceptable to addictions than others. Addictions in any form, wether it be booze, gambling, whatever. And there are some people who are easily addicted to games. I'm on of those. Every game I have ever liked, I can think of at least once where I sat and played it 5-10 hours straight. I've skipped classes to play, etc. But that's just how it is. I dont blame the games. I know it's me. Most gaming addicts are aware of their problem(s). The only other addiction I have is smoking, simply cuz nicotine is one of the most addictive substances known to man. You just have to realize that people who are easily addicted to games are gonna get addicted, regardless of the game. WoW has just been taking the blame lately cuz of the deaths that there have been. (Yeah, people have died from playing WoW so much).
