Alright, I am almost positive there is nothing about these things of the Gears of War website, so I'd like to ask all you PC gamers out there just a few questions.

-----Vista users only:

I just got a new computer with pretty high capabilities, and it has Windows Vista... in Windows Vista there is a feature that rates your PC compared to different game software.

To acquire this information, a Vista user would go to their [Games] tab under the start menu. Said user can see the Performance score and recieve information about it from a panel on the right, while clicking on a game will bring up two other scores, the games "Reccomended" performance rating, and its "Required" performance rating.

THE POINT:

I would like to know what the "Required" and "Reccomended" performance scores are for Gears of War PC

In case you wanted to know, my computer is a "4.8," but only because I have 2Gig of Ram instead of 3 or 4. Most of my subscores are 5.0+

-----Someone to play with:

The day I got my copy of Gears of War for Xbox 360, I immediately began playing it with a good buddy of mine. Sadly, I doubt he'll want to purchase a PC copy, but I'm interested. Co-op gameplay in Gears of War is a great thing, and with the addition of new content, I might just want a new friend to play through the Campaign on "Insane" difficulty with me.

I have a 360 for Windows Controller, and I beat this game with my friend on "Insane" whilst playing Xbox 360, so I'm good enough at it to... not be bad at it.

THE POINT:

Anyone wanna play through the Campaign on "Insane?"

-----The Online Numbers:

For Xbox 360, Gears of War brought thousands upon thousands of new users to the Xbox LIVE community, but I have wondered for a while if there is a large gaming community gathered around this one.

THE POINT:

If I search for a match, am I likely to find one?

-----The Map Editor:

I am extremely interested in the map editor for Gears of War. I believe it's called "Unreal Editor," likely based on Epic Games' Unreal Engine 3, the code that was used to develope the game.

THE POINT:

Is the map editor as amazing as it looks, or just a hopeless add-in?

-----The Cash:

Quite frankly, forking over 40 dollars for a game I already have is a bit troubling. The main reason I want it is for the map editor, but I'd like to be able to play with some people online too, and I definetly want to go through the campaign with a co-op partner on "Isane" mode.

THE POINT:

Am I going to be dissapointed by anything? Is the new content worth the purchase?

I'm basically leaned towards buying this game, but I really want to absorb as much information as I can before my money is lost forever. Also, the first question kinda goes with this but... is my PC good enough to run this game.. at least on medium?

I think it'll have infinite replayability, and this topic is fantastic advertising for it.

I'm going to agree with this guy, New Super Mario Bros. is really fun...

it is rather short, but still fun, an I would definetly reccommend it to a 10 year old, since it's relatively simple.

Harvest Moon 64 was probably the best simulation game I've ever played.. I have no idea how they fit it all onto that cartridge. However, most Harvest Moon games that I've played since then have been..... miserable in comparison...

A wonderful life wasn't bad though, it was pretty cool, I mean the handheld ones really....

Yeah, I'm excited, hopefully they manage to program the Wii controls in a interesting way...

How would you feel if this was happening to you, this guy just wanted to make a statement about how much he likes Kane and Lynch compared to the fact that most people hate it...

If anyone bashing this guy in this thread has made a post about Halo 3 being a miserable game, I hope you got bashed for it...

Anyways, Kane and Lynch isn't the WORST game I've ever played, but I didn't like the demo very much.

Personally, I thought the cussing made it more realistic, as opposed to Gears or CoD4 (Both VERY good games) where a regular human being stands there and gets an entire clip fired into him without even grunting.

Guys, guns scare the crap out of people, and if you hate this game, stop blaming this guy for having an opinion... it's just wrong.

I thought it was going to 360... if it does I'll buy it for that console because the achievements lengthen some shooters...

But anyway, Haze looks AMAZING, and if it does turn out PS3 exclusive (and I mean exculsive not timed exclusive) then I will definetly buy it for PS3

Either way, the game looks sweet!

I always wait... I don't understand why so many people online make threads about finding their presents... I don't look for them because I like when Christmas is a surprise...
