I know it's a free service, so my level of tolerance is quite high, but I can't get my comments to load. I tried posting this before and got no response.

I use Chrome and when I post a comment, it at first appears in the thread, but a quick refresh of the page shows it magically disappear. My theory was simply my user name pops up as inappropriate, but I can't change it since I have had for oh so many years now. But then, I could easily be wrong on that thought process, though would be more than happy to change it as no one gets Chez Geek references anymore.

QUICK EDIT: I am referring to comments posted on news stories and the like.

I am having the same issue.

Though at one point it worked, not sure what the issue was. I had thought my username had brought on redflags in the commenting system; I wouldn't mind having to change it if that would solve the issue.

Well since right now I am playing more PS2 and PC games, very.

The XB2 and PS3 librarys are in a dry spell...I still have Okami, God of War 2 and FFXII to tackle. Well mostly the last two, I am playing Okami again cause it is just too damn cool

anybody remember the forumite's choice awards?CaseyWegner

Did the official flop/hype union or whatever they were called get a mention?

I loved it when a group of people wanted to try to regulate forums, especially since they were not mods.

how is it any different from editing any other mistake made?

Cause your behaviour in those days was of lemming caliber.

I considered you among the ranks of HeHateMe as for style.

Your posting habits were more 'mature' however despite not claiming sides, you opted more on the side of lemmings than anything else...including hermits.

That is as far as the discussions I saw you in. Even if you were not of side back then, you sure as heck posted more for the lemming cause.

was i arguing in favor of the xbox or in the favor of lemmings? there's a huge difference.

True.  You were more in favor of Xbox in discussions. Which is why you were commonly "confused" as a lemming I s'pose.

Not that it really makes a difference. It isn't like a title on a message board means anything really.

What about the inclusion of when gamers were trying to call themselves:

True and Hardcore?

Depends on your basis of measurement.

If you want to compare just consoles...the PS3 is clearly the best.

If you want to compare by games, that is opinion based, even when using published scores as a basis.

But that goes against the design of system wars!

Right now...for me...the PS3 is the best. For what it has and is going to have, it is the console for me. Despite that I would take my PC over my XB2 or PS3 any-day. But you said console... so my hands are tied.

PS3 for teh proverbial win.

600 for PS3.

400 for 360.

The games are the same price. As i've stated before. You're getting a hell of a lot more with PS3.

I guess your the type of person waiting for a price drop.

AfterShafter

What you've stated before is a bunch of crap that many gamers don't care about. To boot, whereas you can spend $200 more and get "a hell of a lot more" that doesn't particularly add to it as a gaming machine and spend months/years waiting for the games to pop up, or you can spend $400 now and get a 360 with a host of great games right now. Hence the name Waitstation which you seem to not acknowledge as being a fitting one.

The XB2 waited a year (IMO) before it got its first great title, Gears of War.

Everything else I "enjoyed" on my PC.

So during its launch year, for me, the XB2 deserved the same title that is being shelled for PS3.

I finally broke down and bought the PS3 over the weekend.

I was waiting this long because I didn't want to make the same mistake I did with XB2 and just buy one at launch with no titles to play. heck, the first game I really enjoyed besides Geometry Wars 2 was Gears of War. It took nearly a year for that.

Plus you don't have to spend a lot... with the backwards compatibility of the PS3, as well as the memory transfew adapter, you can easily trade in your older system.

So I did. Traded in my PStwo (slim) and the 'fatty' that I had dropped the PS3 price by $130 bones, plus got a 10% discount. I bought the PS3, an extra controller, 2 new games, the memory transfer kit, and one USB recharge cable...all for less than the cost of the PS3 itself.

That is the way to do it. And no fanboy can argue against that purchase..well they can... interjecting opinion as fact seems to be the standard ammunition these days.
