@Tripwolf You forgot to know that war / battles changes people. Some turn into drinking, others to gambling, and some wish to be "cleansed from their sins", in this case baptisms. It's perfectly possible that the Booker who accepted to be baptist found a certain relief and became incredibly religious b/c of it, so far it went to his head.
Something like this is perfectly possible, and for many people the war has gone to far in people's head that the have completely changed them.
@redondo5 In the lighthouse, you can find a message who is probably from Comstock who orders the man in the lightouse to "stop the False Shepard". It's possible in one dimension, the man managed to kill Booker and thus he couldn't reach Columbia. So it's possible that the Lutece twins had the man in the lighthouse killed so Booker could continue in his journey.
@syler4815162342 Not a strong story and conversations? In that case, you and I have been playing different games.
The story (and general plot) exceeds that of both ME series and Da series with relative ease, a large part thanks to its variety of themes TW introduced (politics, racism nationalism, feudalism vs absolutism vs enlightened despotism, and much more) ME and DA grows pale compared to The Witcher.
And conversation: TW literally owns ME and DA when it comes do dialog. There are actually an ingenious level of writing in the conversation in both TW games, something that both ME and DA lacks ("I want to be a dragon!") . And for the record, TW2 had 130,000 line of dialog. ME2 had 25,000 lines of dialog (ME1 20,000).
If you prefer "open world" games over "corridor ones" then sure, that is your opinion. But game companies that work on open world games tend to have a weaker story. And personally I prefer story over huge worlds. But it is subjective.
@jessie82 Just b/c it's a shooter doesn't equal to it being "just like any other shooter". From the aspects that we were shown, it certainly isn't your generic shooter.
EDIT: And your logic that "you shoot someone" is quite simple minded. That's like saying Star Trek and Star Wars are exactly the same b/c they take place in space.
@Darkhearted91 Sorry to disappoint you, but it won't change the ending(s). It will only add more dialogue to the Star brat. Confirmed by Mike Gamble on twitter.
@Kyoku-Ryu1986 I can see why anyone would want that, but personally, I hope CDPR would start focusing on future projects (TW3, new AAA+ game) instead of "remaking" TW2 again and again.
