Dracula's Curse and Rondo are both excellent games. Both have great graphics (for their time, of course), and both have excellent music, many songs from both soon became CV classics. But in the end, I have to say that Rondo was better. It had everything new from Dracula's Curse (Ex. Alt. Paths, alt. characters). So that's my justification.

I didn't really like the mulit-angle whipping... I'm glad they kept it out of Rondo.Icemael

Yeah, I agree. I never really found it useful and it was sometimes hard to execute. Symphony style whip brandishing would have been interesting, though. Maybe.

@Elbert: Definitely get Chronicles if you happen to purchase a PSP. If you own a Wii, though, Rondo might be released, but don't get your hopes up...

What Rondo essentially did was take all of the best things from previous CVs and put them all into one game. Everything except whip brandishing and multi-angle whipping, but it all worked out just fine...

Yaaay!

Anyway, I've managed to frustrate myself since I've been trying to get various Saturn emulators to work, but of course, they never do and probably never will... sigh. God I want to play that game so bad...

As with nearly all the bosses in Ecclesia, once you get the strategy down, he becomes pretty easy.

The psp port had; lower music quality, scanlines, a cheap castlevania logo put where the awesome rondo X once was... just to name a few. Rondo had great boss battles, and I also liked how each boss had a desperation attack once they were, essentially, killed.

Oh yeah, and I even bought a gamepad recently so I can play Rondo on a controller rather than a keyboard. ;)
