I finally realized that I hadn't been to GameSpot in a while because I was no longer receiving daily emails. I subscribed to both the general newsletter and the updates newsletter for games I was following. I can't find a way on the new site to subscribe to newsletters, not on the news page and not in my profile. I found a link in one post for a user that wanted to unsubscribe. However that returned a 404 error (no such page). Have the newsletters been discontinued? Since I didn't visit the site every day, they were what drove me to visit the site. Since the redesign, it's difficult to mine content.

My credit card expiration date has changed. I cannot find where to update that information. Have tried the help system, but all I get is another window that asks me log in again. It just a cycle.
What is the URL where I can update the expiration date on the credit card that use to pay for my subscription to this site?
Bottom Line: My account may expire. If that happens, so be it.
Tell me where. Thanks.
I have been getting the same problem for the last couple of days. Usually, the GameSpot Updates e-mail containsan icon and title indicating what type of item the link refers to (e.g., movie, screens), the title of the game (whichcontains a Web link), some brief text describing the update, and one of those postage-stamp constructions on the right side containing the name of and a picture from the game (which also contain a Web link). Instead, I'm just getting the title of the game, which contains the link.
Today's e-mail contained a link to an article about Brutal Legend which is supposed to be at this location:
http://www.gamespot.com/xbox360/action/brutallegend/.html
Instead of the article or item, I was served a 404 - Page Not Found error page.
Same thing for the May 30 and May 31 GameSpot Updates e-mails, which links returned 404s. Here are the links:
http://www.gamespot.com/ds/adventure/traumacenter/.html
http://www.gamespot.com/ps3/adventure/dantesinferno/.html
The fact that the e-mails don't contain the standard content implies that they're not being constructed properly, which makes sense because the above links aren't complete. They're really not pointing to pages; all of them are looking for files named ".html"
I reported this one several weeks ago, and it was fixed. It's broken again. In the right-hand column, the Newsmaker Q&A Archive link is directed at the News Features Archive instead of the Q&A Archive.
There is an incorrect link on the main GameSpot News page. In the right-hand column, under the section titled "News Features," under the subsection titled "Newsmaker Q&A." At the bottom of the "Newsmaker Q&A" subsection, the link named "Newsmaker Q&A Archive" does not link to that archive. Instead, it links to the News Features Archive.
