Did you know that you can freely wander around your carrier spaceship? Did you know that you can navigate said ship to any of the planets in our solar system?
@JamesHetfield89 I heard that the map was 45 square miles (including the sea), which is huge. To put it into perspective, Just Cause 2 was 32 square kilometres which is 19 square miles.
@x-2tha-z That VR headset you refer to is an old model and it's not VR, it just gives the impression of a really big screen. They have not released any info on the new VR headset, including price.
If it's at least as good as the Oculus Rift and costs less than £500, then I'm in.
Bonus points if it features...
1: Positional tracking in addition to rotational tracking. 2: Ability to plug in additional headsets for split screen games/spectators. 3: It's wireless and rechargeable. 4: Can be used in conjunction with one or more Move controllers. 5: Can work with most games without modification (i.e. games released before it is). 6: Has built in mic and earphones. 7: Can switch to PS Eye view so I can see who's just walked into the room. 8: Can sense eye closure (close left eye to switch to aim down sight view). 9: Allows TV to display normal view for spectators while in use. 10: Has a cinema mode to recreate a massive 2D screen.
@apathee The 'tons and tons' of people you know are not representative of the whole world. PC games install to a hard drive and can be patched to run without the need for the DVD in the drive which is why they have serial keys/DRM.
