We don't all have the luxury of playing video games all day Sony! Knock off the "crap" and delay some games to 2018!

This announcement would have worked better if it had been paired with, "We're about to release the first set of patches to deal with the technical issues in single player and multiplayer." On its on, I can only think, "Don't you guys have better things to do with your time?" It should be all hands on deck to roll out the patches. Face it guys, the damage is done. It's too late to save face but you can salvage some goodwill by restricting most if not all posts to, "The ___th update is ___ days out." Anything else and we're going to slam you for wasting time. Fair? Maybe not but personally I don't and will not care about crap like this until the patches start rolling.

Some of the saltiness above is due to the fact that the Architect fight repeatedly glitched out on me and ruined what should have been a fun and intense fight. Each time I died, I had to go all the way back to start menu, reload the manual save file and go through tedious steps to make sure the cutscene loaded properly.

@mister_toad: HZD barely a month old, MEA last week, Kingdom Hearts this week and Persona 5 next week? Why is life so hard?!

@lim30041982: If you really have to choose between them, P5 is the better bet because it sounds like it hits the ground running in terms of quality while MEA takes a little longer to hit its stride.

@Thanatos2k:

1. Correlating one person's obnoxious comments (on a team of literally dozens) with the aspects of the game that have been criticized but have nothing to do with race (which is pretty much covers all aspects that have been criticized) is absurd and really lowers the efficacy of your comment. If you had mentioned the lack of more obvious Caucasian skin tones, you might have had a leg to stand on (a rickety one but a leg nonetheless)

2. Calling ME 3 a "trash heap" is absurd as well. The game was indeed severely streamlined, focused too much attention on MP at the expense of the SP aspects like the Galaxy at War and lacked deep and meaningful side missions but "trash heap" is just ridiculous. The ending may have dampened the overall score for some people but for any rational person that amounts to about a point and a half drop. Guess what? That would mean that according to general consensus, Andromeda=ME 3. The main reason rational people have been more critical of Andromeda is because this shouldn't be the case with two games that have a five year gap between them.

@blindbsnake:Impossible or not, it's not difficult to understand why some people are thinking this way after all the reviews consistently say that the game is a step backwards from almost everything seen in pretty much all three games of the OT and DA. It seems like the developers tossed or neglected all the things fans wanted to see improved upon further in Andromeda to try and create a new IP without actually calling it a new IP. Kind of like MP in ME 3; they wanted to test its viability but ended up neglecting the SP.

@lfebaggins: But you do need facts which are not the same as inferences.

@CatAtomic999: Then you have a review from LaPS4 that says: "Technical issues are obvious, although not so serious to burden five years of development work from a studio that has brought us great moments in the past and will keep doing it in the future."

@maxguevera: Considering that it's only 1.5 points higher than the current Metacritic average, I'd say it's appropriately on the lower end of the bell curve.

@nativepixel: It's a game people are expected to pay money for (sometimes 2-3x more than what they would pay for a comparable book, movie or entire season of a tv show!). Yet somehow that automatically equates to entitlement? Honestly, I hate how expecting quality in the products I pay for somehow makes me a "shit person" and really hate being talked down to.

"It's not real life?" Holy crap! What the hell am I supposed to do with this hooker I just ran over?! Wasn't she supposed to drop some money bags or something? And why the hell is the body still here? It should have disappeared by now (it must be another glitch!)

"For entertainment?" Why on earth did I just spend an hour soundly cursing my copy of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire because I couldn't use it to drive to work?

"No game is perfect?" You didn't just discover the meaning of life; it's called common knowledge!
