I despise turn-based...and after playing Baldur's Gate, Tales of the Sword Coast, Icewind Dale+, Baldur's Gate II, and Throne of Bhaal--and none of the Divinity games--I find this news disheartening.
Hellraid. I haven't heard that name in...wait, I think about this lost one quite a bit. I wish something would come of it...the world needs a new Hexen/Heretic.
@rekonym: They have a website for the game that is occasionally updated, typically on a Wednesday. They went from weekly, to bi-weekly, to monthly in frequency, but it's still around. Last update was in mid-December.
Hard pass. Half-Life or no, the thrill is gone. I also have no interest in VR. Never seen anything made for VR that didn't seem like it couldn't have been done otherwise.
@Renunciation: A long way DOWN, included. Developers would be nuts to not take inspiration from games such as Dark Souls and Bloodborne, in the hopes of also mimicking some of the success of those games.
All games copy from other games--"innovation" is an oft overused term that has lost most of its meaning, especially to the people who use it. It doesn't have to be innovative to be good.
