I'd have to say Bioshock 2, portal and mirrors edge.
Nier, Turok and Fable 3.
I was just playing Fable 1 yesterday and It was better than I remembered O_O js.If everyone went back and played Fable 1 right now you wouldn't have nearly as much fun with it. Fable 1 and 2 were good games but the 2nd doesn't get enough love. It did a lot of new things and gave you more options.

Fable 1 did it right. It had a health and mana bar. It had easy menu navigation. And it had a friggin' mini map. I couldn't stand how there was no mini map in the 2nd and 3rd games. I was constantly getting lost. Fable 2 had no mana bar and a joke of a health bar. Fable 3 just got rid of them altogether for some reason. As far as the combat Fable 1 had variety. The second two games basically just gave you only 3 different attacks. I felt like Fable 2 did everything the 1st game did but wrong. And then fable 3 improved upon most of fable 2s errors. Most noticeably Music, cutscenes, graphics, and acquiring experience. Fable 1 was so great because it was unique and innovative. The reason why I think fable 2 is the worst is because its the only one that didn't do anything new. Fable 1 and 3 were full of great ideas.
EDIT: I forgot to mention that in the first game you could make your character look really sweet, and in fable 2 your character looked really dumb no matter what you did. Due to the character models stupid face and awkward body design. This to me was a major let down because part of the fun of RPGs is getting buff and making your character look badass.
I remember playing the first fable for only an hour until I was sucked in. Normaly it takes alot longer for RPGs to have that affect on me. I did like 3 better than 2 but neither of them stand up to 1. Fable 1 was a great game and fable 2 and 3 seem to just live off of what the original was. I didn't think they were bad, they just are bad in comparison. I feel like fable 2 and 3 give the 1st one a bad name if anything. How do you feel about the fable franchise?
