For me, it's hard to get behind a game where everyone would have been better off just going home and doing nothing. The story just felt needlessly dark, brutal, and pointless, and maybe that was the point there were trying to make. I dunno, but it is hard to enjoy a game like that for me these days, and it definitely wasn't the follow up I was looking for after the first game.
The current status quo for movies needs to change. I, for one, would much rather watch stuff at home than go to a movie theater. The movie theater "experience" is one best forgotten these days. I will not mourn when they inevitably go the way of Blockbuster.
Sounds like someone is terrified of becoming the new Blockbuster. It's probably inevitable at this point, as I feel like people just like doing stuff more from their own homes if given the option.
The only way we'd be impacted is if a judge for some reason decided a temporary restraining order was warranted, which I find highly unlikely to happen while civil proceedings play out. By the time these court cases are done, Nintendo will more than likely already be onto the next console.
@mogan: They should have just used costumes. It probably would've been cheaper and wouldn't have done any worse.
The VFX was downright awful, and it definitely deserves every mocking joke thrown their way. I would bet money that it drove away people who would've otherwise seen it since it just looked so God forsaken awful.
It will be interesting to see what the audience scores are for this one. The audience score, particularly for Star Wars, is a much better indicator of how good the movies are.
He clearly does not know what he talking about...not sure if that makes me more concerned than I already am for this game. At the very least, it looks like they are taking the correct route with multiple costume options. As long as there are decent looking costumes, comic, MCU, or other that are accurate and look decent, I will be happy.
As for Spider-Man, if he's ruling out Spider-Man coming to this game, than that would be a pretty big mistake.
