I find that annoying. ;)DeeJayInphinity
lol pwned!

In other news, I'm officially going to sleep. Before I go:

Newton was a creationist. Leibniz was a creationist. Francis Bacon was Anglican. Einstein was a pantheist, so hell, the man was practically a furry. Also, Berkeley, Locke, and Voltaire were great thinkers who were quite Christian, not to mention that just about everybody in the entire world of any importance has been religious. Simply put, atheism is looking like a fad, and as far as I'm concerned, it can stay as long as it wants, but it'll never reach the kickassness of Beethoven, Mozart, Bach, blah, blah, blah. What's more, if they didn't believe in God, how would Liszt, Paganini, and Robert Johnson have sold their souls to the devil? Precisely. I'm kissing God's ass, no matter what.

It seems to me that all the misfits are trying to ride on the heels of this beautiful world that has been constructed by white Christians. Oh, you guys are so rebellious! Now that we've done every single thing for you, you guys are totally the cream of the crop! Yeah! Rock on, dudes! Enjoy your Marilyn Manson.

So this whole time you were just stereotyping? You could have just said that at the beginning. We wouldn't have had to go through all of this trouble. I thought you had an actual argument against atheist as a whole but it seems you just have an illogical bias against atheism.DeeJayInphinity
I'm stereotyping with regard to what annoys me, but at their cores, atheism and creationism are truly one in the same. That said, I really don't prefer one to the other as an ideal, but, "to stereotype", I also happen to find atheists equally annoying as theists.

If atheism were "why, I don't really believe in God. You see, I simply don't feel any spiritual connection to a commonly recognized deity of any sort." then it would be fine and dandy, but atheism at large is "omg dum christians voted 4 bush damn parents try 2 shove there religion down my THROTE ill show them so stupid christians dum dum jesus i no science i read dig.com ron paul yay save the envirernment". Simply, it lacks the humility of admirable or enlightened Christianity and has the same amount of logic behind it. It's supposedly rooted in "science", but the greatest scientists in the world have been creationists, nevertheless. Atheists are supposed to be educated, but most haven't read texts central to evolutionary theory, nevertheless. blahblahblah

In short, I don't really give a damn. Atheists and theists are one and the same, in the long run.

Psst, no.

He died as a "Darwin creationist", which is hardly unbelievable considering how well it meshes with the prevailing trend among intellectuals of deism.

[QUOTE="Blandassname"]Girls don't really have the capacity to enjoy sex, so... um, yes. That would be where the myth started.fallconet

it depends on their creativity

Exactly, but as I say, that's not sexual pleasure, it's really just a flight of imagination. They think "oh gee I'm gonna be pregnant yay" in the same way children think "yes here comes Barney yes I love Barney!"
