Ridge Racer 7: "...what we've seen previously suggests that drifting, the act of turning your steering wheel and tapping the brakes while going into a turn at full speed to tear through the bend, will be a very prominent part of the gameplay." Come on, everyone knows that the Ridge Racer brand of drifting doesn't involve brakes.

Back in High School, I was a total NGPC and Dreamcast gamer. Therefore, I was way cooler than those kids who put down the Dreamcast and bought into the PS2 hype, and played Pokemon on their GBC. In that tradition, here is the top 5: 1. Powerstone 2 (DC): The Dreamcast was one of the best systems for 4-player action, fighting, and driving games. Outside of the Super Smash Brothers series, Powerstone 2 is the king of 4-player fighters. Plust it goes for tons on eBay. 2. Fatal Fury: Mark of the Wolves (DC): I have all of the the SNK fighters for the Dreamcast (Last Blade2, KOF '99: DM, KOF: Evo) but this one might be the best. Since it was released so late in the DC lifecycle, this one shows off the DC faithfulness more than any other. 3. SNK vs. Capcom: Cardfighter's Clash (NGPC): It seems that everyone had a Cardfighter's Clash message board avatar at one point, but how many people had their avatar's card in their album? My brothers got the Cap versions, I had the SNK version, so we dueled and filled in our albums. I had 298/300 cards in my album only missing out on the link battle rewards, which we never dueled enough to receive because we may have been playing... 4. SNK vs. Capcom: Match of the Millennium (NGPC): Until Capcom's fighting games were released for the PSP, this was the best portable fighting game you could get. In fact, it still may be. The NGPC thumbstick is probably one of the best fighting game input devices ever, and the game controlled like a dream. Plus the game had plenty of bonuses in the Olympic mode. 5. Samba de Amigo + 2 Maracas controllers (DC): This deserves to be remade/sequeled on the Wii. A perfect game for Cinco de Mayo parties, except for when people spill their tequilas on your expensive mats while doing the song "Tequila".
